Company History

Ours is a story of two companies working together to offer our public and private sector clients best-in-class transportation programs and services. 

TransAction has been an industry leader and a trusted name in transportation for more than 33 years. Founded in 1990, TransAction Associates focuses on consulting, planning, and managing onsite commuter programs. The TransAction Corporate Shuttles division officially spun off in 1995 to provide reasonably priced, high-quality transportation services with an emphasis on safety.

Working with TransAction means you get a leadership team with 200+ years of combined industry experience in all areas of transportation from planning to marketing to operations. 

Boosting Sustainability Efforts for All

Since first opening our doors in 1990, the focus of TransAction’s work has been to promote sustainable transportation programs, including:  

• Managed Services that are targeted at commuters and encourage alternatives to driving alone, like carpooling, biking, walking or taking transit.  
• Shuttle Services that take cars off the road every day by connecting between corporate campuses and to transit hubs. 
• Special Events like Bike to Work and webinars on topics such as electric vehicles and sustainability keep the focus on programs that are good for the environment.  
• The eCommuter platform, available exclusively to our clients, that helps track the greenhouse gas emission reductions achieved by our programs.
